Great ride this morning!
Tuesday 9th Jun I got out early this morning hoping to get in about 3 miles. The weather was good and my music was great! I actually rode 6 1/2 miles! Amazing how God just takes over and feels my mind with pure joy! As I rode, I thought about the view dad and Uncle Dave have in Heaven! The scenery I had on a semi country road was beautiful…so many colorful flowers, miniature horses, donkeys, and pretty brown horses! The sound of a rooster and bark of a small dog made me smile! Thank you to all who have donated! I’m about $440 away from my goal! Only 70.27 miles to ride! 💜💛Finally got a little ride in!
Tuesday 9th Jun Only 70.25 miles to ride in memory of dad and Uncle Dave! Abe & I did a little “warm up” ride this past Sunday! We really didn’t realize how hot it was nor how out of bicycle shape we are! 😳 We did get 2.16 miles in before we decided to”dad wouldn’t want us to pass out” in his memory!Challenge

Tuesday 13th Jan I have finally figured out what I am going to do this year for “Do What You Love to End ALZ”. I am going to ride my bike 79 miles in the month of June to raise $5,000. Why 79 miles? Dad took his last breath at the age of 79! Dad (Don) and his baby brother (Dave) both passed away with dementia 4 years and two days apart. Our world has been changed forever.My goal is to let people know when I’m riding and invite anyone who wants to ride with me to join in the ride! I may ride some in Raleigh and some at Emerald Isle.
Please help me reach my riding goal and my financial goal. No amount is to too small!
