World Alzheimer’s Day

Monday is World Alzheimer’s Day. 💜

I’ll be playing the piano for about 45 minutes for the residents of my mom’s memory-care community—something that came through the Alzheimer’s Association’s “Do What You Love” effort. I chose music, and will share it with her and the other residents. 

By a beautiful coincidence, this is also the eve of my second grandchild’s birth—my mom’s second great-grandchild. ❤️ While one generation is losing pieces of its memory, another is just beginning to make them.
