Come and join my event!

Today my father would have turned 79 years old if it weren’t for Alzheimer’s taking his life. In honor of of my father, and to help advance Alzheimer’s research, I have teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Association to start a fundraiser. 

I will be doing something that both my dad and I love, motorcycle riding. For 4 weekends in April  I will be riding my Triumph motorcycle to various locations around my home in Texas. My goal is to ride at least 1000 miles.
What I ask of my friends and family is to spread the word and donate what you can. Whether you donate per mile or just give a one time donation, every little bit helps. 
So please come join me in remembering Steve and let’s put an end to this aweful disease!

Galveston here we come

Sunday 15th Mar
Only 3 weeks to go before my first trip. I will kick off my motorcycle tour with a trip to Galveston. My wonderful wife Anita has decided to join me on the first leg. We will depart April 4th and spend the night on Bolivar Island. April 5th, we will take a ferry across to Galveston and visit the Navel Museum, something my father would love to have seen. The total trip should be about 260 miles total. 

I am over half way to my goal of raising $2500 for the Alzheimer's Association. This money goes to research and support for Alzheimer's patents and their families. Please continue to spread the word to family and friends. Together we can make a difference!

Wow, I am humbled by all of the donations I have received so far. I big thank you to you all!

I completed the annual maintenance on the bike last night. She's all ready for the long hauls ahead. 1 month to go and still a lot of planning to do. Stay tuned. 

Trip planning begins!

Friday 27th Feb
Dad was always a Harley man but I prefer the modern classic motorcycles. This is my Triumph Speed Twin 900. It'll be my faithful companion as I travel to raise money for Alzheimer's research.

My trip planning has begun with a trip to Galveston and Texas Hill Country in the mix. Stay tuned, there's more to come and still plenty of time to donate. Thanks to all that have already done so!
