Alzheimer’s Awareness Month: Why This Cause Is Personal to Us

At Home Helpers Home Care of Mission Valley, we work closely with families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia every day. We see firsthand how this disease affects not only memory, but entire families, caregivers, and loved ones.

This June, during Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we are proud to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association “Do What You Love” fundraiser to help support awareness, care, support services, and research.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 through community support and awareness across our social media platforms throughout the month of June.

Every donation, share, and conversation helps bring more awareness to a disease that impacts millions of families. Thank you to everyone supporting this cause with us.

Together, we can help move closer toward better care, better support, and ultimately a cure.

Many of the families we serve are navigating the challenges of dementia every single day.

As a home care agency, this mission is deeply personal to us.
