Meeting You Again

Before my grandma Lorelei passed this last February, I wrote a song about her. It represents the pain people feel when losing a loved one to Alzheimer’s.

I named this fundraiser after the title of that song: Meeting You Again

The song has not been officially recorded, but you can listen here:
I am working on releasing the full song before the marathon.

There’s something in your laugh

It sounds just like mine

Why I Am Fundraising

Wednesday 17th Sep
I am creating this fundraiser to help support an organization dedicated to research and providing access to education and support for people impacted by Alzheimer’s.

My grandmothers, Irma and Lorelei, both passed away from Alzheimer’s. Their love and resiliency was inspirational. I miss them every day.

I am training for the Seattle Marathon on November 30th, 2025 and will represent my support for Alzheimer’s Association. I have ten weeks left in my training and I have a goal of raising $5,000.

If you are able to donate to my fundraiser, no amount is small. If you are donating on behalf of a loved one in your life impacted by this disease, please mention their name in your donation and I will write it on my race shirt.
