St. Margaret of York Parish Alzheimer's talk and book reading
Hi all! Hope you can come and join us for a discussion on Alzheimer's from a different point of view. It will be held on World Alzheimer's Day, September 21, 2026, Monday at 7pm. Once you enter St. Margaret of York Church, head downstairs to Fr. James Brook Hall.
Amber Todd, from the Alzheimer Association, will have information and handouts. I will be reading selections from my book, Oh, the Places We Went! to demonstrate how my family found creative ways to handle my father and grandmother while dealing with this disease for more than 30 years. We enjoyed going on the journeys that they were more than happy to take us on. It should be a very informative and entertaining event!
