This cause is deeply personal to me. Many of you know someone living with this devastating disease - or caring for someone who is.

My mom was incredibly smart, loving, and selfless. She took beautiful care of our family and anyone who needed her. In 2018, after years of battling high blood pressure, she developed vascular dementia. I became her primary caregiver as we watched the disease slowly take so much from her. My dad, though his memory declined more slowly, suffered deeply as he witnessed her loss. They were married for 67 years and passed away just three days apart in September 2022.

The support we received from the Alzheimer's Association - including caregiver resources, education, and their 24/7 helpline - meant more to us than I can express. These services are vital, and every family deserves access to them.
