I am a team captain this year for the WALK to END ALZHEIMER'S in Greenville, SC. in memory of my dad, Bill Roe, and my uncle Pete Roe, my dad's identical twin. Both died from Alzheimer's disease 4 years apart. My mother-in-law, Carol Dalton Gillespie, died from Alzheimer's disease 12 years after my dad died. We have lost three family members to Alzheimer's disease, and are now seeing our friends impacted by it.
Over 7 million Americans are living with the disease. And approximately 12 million family members are providing care to their loved ones without pay.That is why I have donated and am working as a team captain to help raise money to end this horrific disease.Won't you please walk with me on Oct. 4th?
