Woven with Purpose
I started Woven with Purpose as a way to take something I already love—Kumihimo—and give it a deeper meaning.
Between now and the end of the year, I’ll be creating pieces at my own pace, tracking each inch along the way as part of this project.
If you’d like to follow along or support it, you can donate in whatever way feels right to you. Some people may choose to give per inch created, while others may prefer a one-time contribution.
This cause is personal to me, and this is simply my way of doing something meaningful in support of those affected by Alzheimer’s.
Any amount—big or small—is truly appreciated.

One Bead at a Time
Wednesday 22nd Apr
I’m beginning something that means a lot to me 💜
Alzheimer’s has touched my life in a very real way, and like so many others, I’ve felt the weight of it—watching the changes, adjusting to a new normal, and trying to hold onto the moments that still feel like them.
I’ve been searching for a way to do something meaningful with that… something that feels purposeful instead of just heavy.
So I’m turning to what I love—Kumihimo.
This bracelet is the first piece in what will become a series of hand-braided designs created bead by bead, inch by inch, in support of Alzheimer’s awareness and research. Each section I complete represents time, care, patience… and intention.
Right now, it’s just the beginning. But I’ll be sharing the progress as it grows.
Thank you for being here and for supporting this journey. 💜
