Help me and the Granby Dudes raise $25k for The Alzheimer's Association

This June, I'm participating in the 10th annual Washburn Challenge, a biking and kayaking fundraiser started by my college pal, Stu McLeod, on Cape Cod.

The Alzheimer's Association fights this disease from three different angles: Accelerating global research for new drugs, early detection testing, and supporting quality care for patients and their caregivers. Since we started The Washburn, three major drugs have been approved. And last year the first blood test for ALZ was also approved by the FDA. We are making a difference!

Stu was inspired to start this 22-mile bike and 6-mile kayak challenge after losing hs sister Sara to ALZ. Since then, we've raised over $1.2 million for the cause.

The Granby Dudes are a couple dozen high school buddies from Granby, CT who've maintained some remarkably close friendships since their graduations in the early 1980's.

I met Stu at Clark U, and got together with Scott "Ratt" Forler for the launch of this event in 2017. A couple years ago fellow Dude "Sammy" Paul joined the team and we honored his mother Sarah, who also succumbed to this awful disease. Last year Dave "Pooh" Weigert joined the team, as he had lost his sister JoAnne to early onset ALZ. We raised over $23k as a 4-man team.  This year, Curt "Ernie" Christensen joined as the 5th Granby Dude. Ernie's mother Sandy has been battling ALZ, and we pray for her every day.

Please support Stew, Ratt, Sammy, Pooh and Ernie honoring Sarah, JoAnne and Sandy in ther fight against Alzheimer's. We're looking to raise $25k, and the Washburn to exceed the $280k from last year.

This is an incredibly worthy cause, and we're taking this fight personally.
