Please help me fight ALZ in honor of my mother, Sally Paul.
On June 20th I will be participating in my third Washburn Challenge alongside four guys that all grew up in Granby. You probably know all of them: Bill Stewart, Scott Forler, Dave Weigert, and Curt Christensen. We've renamed our team "Granby Dudes Fighting ALZ" to reflect our shared experience of losing a friend or family member to Alzheimer's. We're taking the fight to this disease and I need your help to reach my goal of $5,000.
The Alzheimer's Association fights this disease from three different angles: Accelerating global research for new drugs, early detection testing, and supporting quality care for patients and their caregivers. Since the first Washburn Challenge, three major drugs have been approved. And last year the first blood test for detecting ALZ was also approved by the FDA. We are making a difference!
The Washburn Challenge has raised over $1,220,000 since it began in 2017. Together, we can keep this momentum moving forward and show those facing Alzheimer's that they are not alone.
